it seems to be in good health, all that remains of the Op is a painless hernia.

Yeah, it's quite normal. Do not worry about it. I take all the time for post-op check-up and staging of cancer.

Yes It should have this done at least once a year if not every 6 months. Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. When a person has signs or symptoms, usually at the end, so they tell people to have screenings for colon cancer at age 50. It is not unusual, I used to work for GI's for 17 years!

I am 68 had a tumor of the bladder. had cat scan before finding it. The operation and took it out (through the tube). I had a scanner before and I am treated Immuneatherpy 6 weeks. Mail will need a check-up every 3 Questions months.Any e me.

Hey, yes, it is very normal. In fact, blood tests, CT scans and colonoscopies are performed regularly as a check in place to ensure that everything is ok. How often are they done depends on how the cancer was advanced.

My father had his intestines and bladder removed because of cancer, he had CT scans every 3 months for 3 years. Yes, that's normal.

Yes it is normal, they will simply check to ensure there is no re-growth and if there were, they Wold be able to deal immediately
