Clawfoot Bath

I need to know certain information about clawfoot tubs? Then I rough in the drain and supply lines before the vessel arrives? The lines pass through the floor so that I can get by with PVC threaded nipples or do I need something stronger? It will also be sitting on a ceramic tile floor. I need all the suggestions and comments.

To clarify, the tank would be to use a 2 "drain, with a 1 ½" of air and a 1 ½ "trap arms. If this is a new tank, get the data sheet manufacturer. It would not be a bad idea to have a plumber harsh for you.
