Cleanse Xr

Cleanse XrWhat the Master Cleanse diet on my antidepressants?

I just decided to do it for a day or two (just to detox, I did not need to lose weight). I am particularly concerned about the sea salt laxative thing morning. I take 75 mg of Effexor XR in the morning and 30 mg of Remeron at night. Will they be affected?

It is difficult to be 100% sure, because the power of cleaning in general are, at best, dubious. Generally, if the cleaning regime actually works, it will affect your medication.

The question here really is: "How much is affected?"

For the laxative especially if things do not move in your intestines more quickly, it does not work to prevent your body from absorbing something. He could make you absorb a little less, however.

Your best bet is to consult your doctor, bringing your ideas specific arrangements with you. Learn about the opportunity to take a higher dose of medication for a day or two. Find out whether or not your normal dose would mean that the concentration of the drug are low enough not to work, or if they do not work for a day or two, but then be normal, or if they do not work for one day or two and encourage them to continue not to work even longer.

Your doctor may use your medical and psychological history to determine if this is really about you or if you do affects temporarily, or you probably will not touch.

There is no need to "detox". For centuries fraudsters have sold people on the idea that "toxins" accumulate in the colon. There is absolutely no scientific basis for the.

Specifically, laxatives can be pretty effect of your medication. laxative salt are particularly harsh, and can cause an electrolyte imbalance in your body if taken excessively.

About the question "Who is to enjoy" ... Perhaps no one, but from wikipedia:

"The Master Cleanse Detox system, also known as the lemonade diet was created by Stanley Burroughs in 1941 and popularized by Peter Glickman through his book Lose weight, more energy and be happier in 10 days, scheme which promotes Burroughs to a modern audience "

So yes, I am sure that Peter Glickman did not hand over this book for free. :) People make money by selling a large number of "self-improvement" books that are a little scammy. I am sure that the book contains some good advice, bad advice and stuff which is just side of the wall. It is through lessons in books like that.

Here are a few (thousands) of articles on ancient and common "detox scam":
