Do It Yourself Enema

Do It Yourself EnemaWhat is the safest way to give you an enema ...?

Serious medical question. I want to use a water bottle, but I fear that water could strip the intestinal enzymes important / liquid or otherwise. Can I do this way? It is the same as a bag of shower is it?

I am desperate. I have an upset stomach and I went with constipation and hard stools long thin out.

help!

Enemas are totally unnecessary.

You just need lots of fiber and roughage that you can get bread, cereals, muesli and pasta and many fruits and vegetables.

liquid chlorophyll is a very good colon cleanser and apple cider vinegar is another.

To get the system going you could binge on prunes, mandarins or oranges for a few days.

I just had my first enema bag and, yes, water can upset your electrolyte imbalance as was mine. I felt dizzy afterwards. Apparently, adding a teaspoon of salt per liter of water will help alleviate this problem and if I try again I'll use the salt, most likely. Good luck.

You should not even consider making a EMEM, go to the pharmacy and there are many good laxetivies available these days. Drink prune juice too. Good luck, Carole

An enema should really be a last resort, but I can understand your discomfort!

Try a laxative Dulcolax as tabs. Those are pretty cheap if you get the generic. They are on the counter if you ask.

For a more natural apple juice is a wonderful thing! Chug a few glasses of that and see what happens! In addition, you will rehydrated (since a common reason for constipation is dehydration!).

If all else fails and you really need an enema to get one from your local drug store. Again, they are not that expensive. Follow the instructions on the box it comes in. They are very safe, but certainly not use it anymore! Your system may become addicted!

I have been constipated my entire adult life, and if you have a water bottle that is designed for an enema, by all means use it. I take an enema every day, which was recommended by a doctor.
