Effusion Lamp Oil

Effusion Lamp OilI need a recipe to make my own oil effusion lamp.?

I want to make my own lamp oil spill. The high-quality varieties available in stores is too expensive. I searched through Yahoo and Google and can not find what I need. HELP! Thank you.

Wow, you're right. It is difficult to find a damn "how" on the oil spill. I googled some, and I discovered that an effusion lamp may also be called a catalytic burner, and once I searched for that, as the harvest is not much, but I found something you might find useful.

Here are two things I found.

A site I do not find it but the text copied from wrote:
Find a site that sells the oil is fragrant, try scented oil Wellington. Use 2 teaspoons of oil per 16 ounces of 91% alcohol, mix the oil in a little acetone and pour into the bottle of alcohol.

Thrifty pleasure to another:
16 OZ FL. ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL 91% VOL. (473 ml) (Do not use "ethyl" or any other type of alcohol.)

, 3 OZ. On scented oil (8.86 ml)
Add more oil if you want a stronger scent. Try adjusting by increasing oil flavored
, 1 oz increments.

I buy alcohol at Wal-Mart. The fragrance oil (.3 oz) equals 1 3 / 4 c. tea. So far I have tried different brands of perfume oils with no problems. I have found that some oils are more powerful than others and I had to dilute it with more alcohol. "I add the right oil to the bottle of alcohol, then the label of the bottle with the name of the perfume. My friend bought his oil on E-bay and got a very good deal. It uses a single perfume. Not like me, I have a dozen different flavors that I use. So far, I really like my fragrance lamp. I do have a few months. I wonder how long the stone. I guess time will tell.

In fact, apparently, is 91% alcohol + "fragrance oil" oil effusion = '. There was some confusion as to whether or not it was OK to use the essential oil, but the difference between essential and fragrance oil is apparently essential oil is extracted from plants (steam or boiling for example) and fragrance oils are synthetic.

I do not know why essential oils are not allowed, really, that this question was not answered on the site.

In addition, the post does not economical than alcohol, but they used one of the others said: "I used a small bottle of oil Joy of Christmas, someone gave me a few years ago, with 16 oz. 91% alcohol from Walmart. It feels really good. My price was about $ 1.00. "

Well .. there is not much more .. but perhaps that is enough? Good luck, and hope it works here:)

Well, I just found this on here and I tried it and it worked guess I went to Wal-Mart purchased a 16 ounce bottle of alcohol 91% and 2 oil bottles from recycling and medleys mixed florasense I love sooo much if you see this try it.it really works! Flag
