Morning
If you feel sad and lethargic a bath with rosemary stimulates the nervous system and head clear. 10-15 minutes in the bath is long enough to feel the benefits. Workplace
Offices and workplaces can often be very stuffy and can contribute to a lack of efficiency as the day progresses. Fresh air is what is needed and if you can not go out for a walk or even open the windows you can always cool the atmosphere by using essential oils.
Use either a spray air (as explained in our newsletter and books), or by adding a few drops of oil to a cloth or cotton ball. Light oils such as citrus - Bergamot, Lemon, Orange, Rosewood and Lemongrass, not only perfume the atmosphere, but bring a freshness and clarity, and because all essential oils have antiseptic properties, also offers a degree of protection against various airborne bacteria that surround us.
If you suffer from mental fatigue, basil oil stimulates the brain and is ideal to refresh your mental faculties during a demanding day at your workplace or while swatting review. It is also ideal for long journeys you have to do, or more generally for anyone who has to concentrate for long periods of time. basil oil is very strong and just feel the steam of 1 drop on a tissue is sufficient to stimulate the gray matter.
Back home
When you know that all parts of your body has a reflex point on the foot, you will understand how, on returning home, you can start very quickly by a foot bath. Located only 5 to 10 minutes, the feet in a basin of water to which you add 5 drops of peppermint or another, lavender or rosemary, then gently massage your feet will do wonders.
To revitalize the evening before
Run a bath and add either rosemary and rosewood, or rosemary and bergamot, rosewood and bergamot or, or ylang-ylang and clary sage (6 drops in total to a bath or dilute first in a carrier oil or a little milk). Any of these combinations of uplift and relax before going out.
And so to Bed
A bath with lavender and geranium will help reduce tensions and prepare you for sleep. If you have trouble falling asleep place 1-2 drops of lavender oil or marjoram on a tissue near your pillow.
