Hand Steamer

Hand SteamerHand-held steamer on the mat?

I have two small carpets that need cleaning. They are not stained, a bit dull in my research lab on them. One is a type of jute rugs, 8x10, and the other is a mixture of mixed type 7x9, it has some wool in it. I wondered if I could use my hand to steam, I have a Shark steamer to clean these? Does it hurt them?
If I do that, what should I use with it, just water or some sort of carpet cleaner, etc.?

This is not a lot of money to have them cleaned by professionals.

It is cheaper if you take the company to clean and pick up.

I highly recommend Pro Serve, if they are in your area.
When they know what the soil or stains, they are very successful. Pets allowed the oil from their fur and skin.

I am not associated with them. I've used when I have my own soil covering business, 35 years, retired.

Burlap can be tricky. The carpet fibers and polypropylene blending can not be cleaned at high temperature.

Follow the instructions on the label. Or if there is no appeal to the manufacture of carpets. They may be able to help with the cleanup. From my experience, you can try to clean it yourself, it will be the best way to do it. And if you ruin the carpet, you can always buy a new one. The ones you have now are dirty and if you can not clean you need to get new anyway. I recommend getting a cheap rug for the dog to lay on this path, you can change once it messes up without a big expense on you.

hmm, and when you say Shark Steamer I think the model can not extract water back if my thoughts would not you can not use this type of boat for this (it would probably need to be a steam cleaner extractor type)
