Use citronella oil in the production of soap and other cleaning products? Yes - you can use any EO in the manufacture of soap. Generally, you should use, 5 ounces per pound of oils you use in your soap. Lemongrass is a beautiful blend well. You might try these:
equal parts citronella and patchouli
equal parts lemon / geramium / patchouli
equal parts lemon / sage / eo and orange
I also made a basic right of lemongrass with bits of soap eucalyptus mint / in it that was very popular
