Rubbermaid Totes

Rubbermaid TotesDoes anyone else use Rubbermaid bins for litter?

I came up with the idea and it works great and is much cheaper than actually covered litter box .. I bought cheap plastic containers for about $ 6 and make a hole in the side and put the lid on ... voila! a covered cat box that costs less than those already made in the store! Anyone else use these too? They work very well if you need a litter I suggest using this idea if you get the clear cover and let it work too well and you get so less litter in monitoring.

I have not but I saw litter trays expensive store that is essentially a Rubbermaid tote with a hole in the lid - Top Entry litter. I'm not sure my cat will not use it or I would have had. Much cheaper to make your own!

I do, I use a small dog house dogs and it works wonderfully

I have not tried, but always wondered how it would work. Thank you for sharing your experience.
And the idea of another little dog house shared voice sounds good.

--- I do my cats need a bigger box, or they sometimes ..... uh .... miss the edge.
I do not cover well, I need to clean it too often.

I do excellent work! But I had to buy those so regular because my cat got too big for the other ... lol

I am not but I used to work with a behaviorist veterinarian recommends them to all time. She thought regular bins were too small. They are larger, and they are less porous, so they do not keep the smell in the beat!
