Soap Gifts

Soap GiftsCan I use regular soap to make decorative soaps for gifts?

Can I melt soap like Ivory or to make soaps gift or do I buy glycerine soap?

Does it melt well?

Unless you want to mold into a different form, you do not do anything. Delta makes a product called soaps and candles means you can mix with paint and use of soaps and candles (of course:). If you go to Michaels.com, they have basic instructions on how to use it.
You can also try milling soap. It has been a while since I reviewed the process, but I think any regular bar soap and press it into the mold. It takes longer to process, I think, because it is dry.
