Symmons Shower

The apartment I rent a Model C Temptrol Symmons shower valve. This is just a handful of something that integrates flow and temperature in a single control. You must enable full speed before starting to let out hot water, and the breath is much more complete, the flow much more than I need. How can I fix this thing if it gives hot water with less flow?

I already had the maintenance people here watching, but they are not too bright and I could not make them understand the problem. They just ended up replacing the shower head and calling it "fixed".

If your faucet does not have 2 handles, one for temperature and one for pressure, there should be a stop screw to limit the extent to which the handle to turn. Do a search on the web, and you can find an exploded view showing where all the parts are located. Good luck!

The problem is not the head, the distance of the device to the boiler room or water heater. You can let it run at a slower pace, but it would take much longer to get hot. Consumption is probably close to the same gal. So if I was speechless.
