Clove essential oil is extracted from Eugenia caryophyllata (also known as Syzygium aromaticum, Eugenia aromatica, carophyllus E.) of the family Myrtaceae.
Although clove oil is a very powerful oil which should be used carefully in aromatherapy, it has wonderful properties - to stimulate the mind and lifting depression, aid digestion, relieve pain of arthritis and rheumatism, easing respiratory problems and help leg ulcers.
