Twisted Bowel

If my first colonoscopy yesterday and it wasn't nice to say the least! They didn't find anything (except that is ibs) But apparently I did i quote "one of the worst of the twisted intestine they had ever seen." I think has nothing at all until arriving home and reserched and discovered that it can be very dangerous. So how come they havent done anything? Or are they correct when they do the colonoscopy? They havent told me anything!

oh the medical profession! Whenever I have a medical problem, I always ask a million questions even if they hate. It is dangerous, yes, and you will need surgery to correct without doubt. Phone them back and ASK. you must take responsiblity for your own medical care only in terms of knowing exactly what is happening and bullying. This is your body and your life and the end of the day, you're just another patient to them.

I do not know much except that a friend of mine detection dogs just had to undergo surgery because of one week last twisted intestine. The dog had to have like 3 feet of his intestines removed and must remain at the animal hospital for 2 weeks to recover. He remains hospitalized and is really very good. They may be able to just go in and get it untwisted, without having to remove all of that, but I'm not sure. If I were you I call the doctors office and demand to speak to either a nurse or doctor and ask them the questions you have and if they will not give you answers, then go to another doctor.
